In recent years, comics have broken down barriers that once surrounded the medium to become one of the 21st century’s most exciting art forms, taking on the world we live in and reflecting it back to us in a thousand different ways. Comic authors have created a world that allows people to respond to their stories which are sequentially narrated in visual. Visitors of this exhibition will be absorbed by the unique and fascinating collections of paintings, drawings, sketches, comic books and also video, narrated by artists who have gone beyond the definition of ‘fine art’ and ‘sequential comic’.
