ARTRIANGLE is a group exhibition that brings together artists from countries in Southeast Asia. It showcases the latest artworks from Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore and the Philippines. It aims to increase the appreciation of art in Southeast Asia through a more open network of exchange and inculcate closer working ties amongst these artists. It aspires to energise an open dialogue between these countries and generate a more meaningful art discourse.
ARTRIANGLE is also a fund-raising exhibition which channels its proceeds from the sales of the artworks to the MATAHATI Art Fund – an endeavour to provide financial help in providing funds that support visual artists and the arts in the region.
ARTRIANGLE is organized by MATAHATI group and managed by HOM (House of MATAHATI). The Artriangle 2010 exhibition has a total of 128 artists involved, ranging from 84 artists from Malaysia, 20 from Indonesia, 14 from the Philippines and 10 from Singapore. For this year ARTRIANGLE 2010 Exhibition will be held at Balai Seni Lukis Negara, Malaysia.
