Award-winning filmmaker Liew Seng Tat, with the support of Five Arts Centre, invite urbanites to rediscover the long forgotten gotong-royong spirit in the heart of Kuala Lumpur!

Borrowing from the kampung tradition where villagers unite to help carry and move an old house to its new location, this unique project invites urbanites to carry a specially-designed house along Jalan Ipoh to its final destination at KLPAC. Where, in conjuction with Urbanscapes, the house will be converted into an open stage for anyone who wants to perform. So all you closet performers, come out and play!

This project is aimed for everybody (if can’t carry, can walk with us!) to come together using the familiar Malaysian activities of gotong-royong, pindah rumah and Hari Sukan march-past parades!
