Dear All,

ARTERI is as strong as its contributions and comments. Keep em coming, the good, the bad and the fugly. Let us keep figuring out self censorship, censorship, getting annoyed, amused and inspired by all your insights. It keeps us on our toes.

Now … we want to support all you (budding and bloomin’) writers out there, and we all know we NEED more writers and critical thinkers in Malaysia, so being the kind hearted folks that we are, we are extending an open invitation to anyone who would like to write actual posts on art and culture in Malaysia and South East Asia. This invitation is always up on our About page but who reads that?

We will post pretty much everything as long as it makes some remote sense to at least one of us. If it helps keep our platform for fun, meaningful exchange and dialogue going, it’s in. So get yer quills in hands and start writing about shows and events as well as thoughts, theories, photo essay, profiles (artists, galleries, museums and the whole dysfunctional art world family) and then, along with a few nice pics, SEND IT TO US at arteri DOT malaysia AT gmail.com.

You will get a response from one of us and then boom! It goes up for everyone on the entire internet planet to see. Writing in Bahasa, English, Chinese — well, it’s all good in the hood.

We can barely keep up with everything that is happening in KL and beyond and would love some help and fresh thoughts on all things arty and cultural. We heart all the usual suspects and new voices saying hello (thank you, thank you, thank you!), but come on all you shy ones in the back, get familiar.

If you are interested to contribute then do!! Please note we are poor so can’t pay :) but we are rich in substance so think about all the intellectual and emotionally meaningful things you will gain by joining in on all the fun we have!
