We want to thank readers for checking into ARTERI. It’s been a great first week for us and the blog. Me and Simon are very excited with the enthusiastic response, in fact the other day we were saying to each other that it’s worth waking up for in the morning!
Both of us are away for the weekend, so posting will be light. We have alot planned, including:
– A series of ‘Letters To A Young Artist’, written by senior artists
– More reviews of shows that are currently up
– Conversations with collectors
– ARTEResource: a segment where we profile favorite hunting places of artists such as art shops, stationary shops, hardware shops and framers.
– ARTEReal: comments on art and reviews of exhibitions from non-practitioners/neo-phytes/parents/aunties/uncles – basically normal people who love the arts!
AND…
We’re also planning a series of viral art parties called HIDING PLACES. Look out for an announcement and join us for all kinds of debauched shennanigans.
In the meantime, don’t forget that we’re always looking for contributors. Email us at arteri.malaysia AT gmail DOT com.
Ober n’ out,
Sharon and Simon
Sorry, the comment form is closed at this time.
Don’t forget to bid farewell to Lost Gen Space this Saturday with the Fallen Leaves Company for a one night performance/happening ‘TERBIAR’. Look through our pulse listing for details.
Also in town are the Condors, an all male contemporary dance troupe from Japan. They are amazingly funny. Reminds me of Funky Forest (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AWq0MBQ2lwU), a movie that is an amalgamation of nonsensical narratives that only the Japanese know how to put together.
