Chinese New Year is around the bend, and many Malaysians will be cashing in their leave to take yet more holidays. And why shouldn’t they when the bender that was 2009 seems to continue careening into 2010? Let us go, O annus horribilis!

Sure, you can pack into a car and endure the horrendous jams on the North-South highway, or squeeze your office chair-abused posterior into a budget airline seat, but why settle for such … earthly escapes?

Here are a few Star Wars-themed travel posters found on the ‘net just in case you wanna relax off-planet.

Just talk to the wise-cracking guy at the cantina with a walking carpet for a co-pilot. Oh, and it costs extra to avoid any “imperial entanglements”, or the MACC.

Posters from Justin van Genderen’s flikr stream, and thanks to awesome sci-fi fan-site io9.com for the heads up.
